Head coach Max Shepherd is a Cricket Australia Accredited Level 3 Coach, Max has over 35 years experience as a player and coach. During his 24 years of employment with Cricket NSW he filled a number of roles, most notably as NSW State Director of Coaching.

Matt Armstrong

Assistant Coach, Director

Max will be assisted by Matt Armstrong who is the current Captain/Coach of the Tallangatta Cricket Club. Matt has represented the following cricket teams; Australian Prime Ministers XI, Australian Cricket Academy, ACT Academy of Sport, Canberra Comets and was a member of the Australian U/19 squad as a junior.

Sam is a Cricket Australia Accredited Representative Level 2 Coach and has filled many coaching roles in the Albury region. Sam is currently the coordinator of the Cricket Albury Wodonga (CAW) T20 Blast Competition and continues to coach junior sides as well as work with individuals on a 1 on 1 basis. Sam is also a talented cricketer in his own right representing the CAW Stars in the SCG Cup and has played multiple seasons abroad in English League Cricket.

Andrew McDonald

Guest Coach

Talented Victorian cricketer Andrew McDonald has represented Australia at the highest level, making his debut in the Australian Test team against South Africa in 2009. As a handy allrounder Andrew has also enjoyed success playing domestic cricket with both the Victorian Bushrangers and the South Australian Redbacks, county cricket with the Leicestershire Foxes, and in the Indian Premier League with both the Delhi Daredevils and the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Andrew’s knowledge of the game, experience playing at an elite level and passion for playing makes him a crucial part of the Australian Cricket College team.
